ANTIOXIDANTS

Antioxidants provide your body a defense at the cellular level by stabilizing or deactivating free radicals before they attack cells.

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a vitamin-like antioxidant, sometimes referred to as the "universal antioxidant," and is readily absorbed by the body as a supplement. ALA is both fat and water soluble, which enables it to function in many different tissues providing you with protection against the oxidative damage of free radicals.

ALA may also promote healthy blood flow to nerves which may promote normal transmission of nerve impulses. It is also capable of binding and helping to eliminate heavy metals, repairing damaged molecules and may also promote healthy liver function.

ALA also has the unique ability to directly recycle, re-activate and extend the lifespan of other antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, Glutathione, and Coenzyme Q10, creating an antioxidant framework that is second to none.

ORGANIC SULFUR

FLAVONOIDS

Flavonoids are a class of water soluble plant pigments that may deliver potent antioxidant support and may promote normal, healthy cellular tissue throughout the body.

Rutin is a water-soluble flavonoid, found mainly in buckwheat but is present in many other plants, including eucalyptus leaves, rosehip, and blue violet leaves. Bioflavonoids are thought to enhance the absorption of Vitamin C, and possibly to prolong the effectiveness of it as well. Rutin may help to maintain normal, healthy digestive functions and may promote healthy circulation. It has the unique ability to improve capillaries and veins and it supports the regeneration capacity of human body tissues.

Rutin is also a powerful antioxidant that fights free radicals and seems to have a protective effect against syndromes that lower the body's oxygen supply.

Like all of the other ingredients in Zymitol, Rutin promotes healthy aging.

VITAMINS

Vitamin D3 is necessary for the proper absorption and regulation of calcium and phosphorus, leading to healthy bone density and proper mineralization of bone.

Vitamin D works by promoting intestinal absorption of calcium, and also phosphate and magnesium.

The best source of vitamin D is your skins exposure to 15 minutes of direct sunlight daily and when that's not possible you must be certain your diet contains enough of this important vitamin through your food sources or supplementation.

Sunscreens, especially those with SPF ratings greater than 8, effectively block synthesis of vitamin D in the skin.

Vitamin D is so effective at promoting proper calcium absorption that if you consume more than 1300 IU of vitamin D3 daily you should undergo periodic blood tests should ensuring that too much calcium is not being absorbed.

Vitamin K

Vitamin K is a regulator. It is critical in promoting healthy calcium retention in the bone and plays a significant role in the formation of new bone, while at the same time keeping calcium out of the heart. Calcification of the heart is just as dangerous as fatty build-up.

Ester-C

Ester-C ™ is a patented form of Vitamin C that is pH-balanced. It is non acidic and gentle on your stomach.

pH

Absolute neutrality has a pH value of 7.07 (usually taken as 7.0). The pH of all acid solutions is less than 7.07. The pH of all alkaline solutions is greater than 7.07. The range of pH values extends about equally on each side of 7.07; for the complete range of pH values forms a graduated scale from about - 0.3 to 14.5.

Each number is ten times stronger than the preceding number. For example, a pH of 2 is ten times more acidic than a pH of 3 and one hundred times more acidic than a pH of 4.
